Bother was created to enable people to order ‘boring basics’ (cupboard essentials) online, with no subscription, and with free next day delivery. At the same time Bother helps to reduce carbon emissions by eliminating all those extra trips to the shop to pick up that loo roll!
We were challenged to help them generate new customers and meet their commercial cost per acquisition targets.

To use offline channels, to boost the awareness of the Bother brand in target city catchments, drive traffic to the website and generate new subscriptions.
In collaboration with our print partner, Pureprint, we created Door Drops and Direct Mail packs based on brand guidelines and tone of voice, highlighting their brand values (saving time, money and the environment) as well as an introductory offer of £15 off.
Targeting was based on our Zebra Pro Tools to profile existing customers which allowed us to identify high indexing postcode sectors for door drops and specific postcodes for Partially Addressed Mailings.
